Published by Hacettepe University and edited by Prof. Dr. The book chapter titled “Addison and Steele: Educating the Nation Through Literature” (2011) in the joint book of world literature research and analysis titled Littera Literature Writings, written by Cengiz Ertem, was edited by Prof. Dr. The book chapter titled “A Transnational Outlook to Nadine Gordimer’s July’s People” (2014) was published in the book BAKEA: History in Western Literature by Zekiye Antakyalıoğlu. In addition, in 2020, the book chapter titled “A Stylistic Approach to Literary Translation: Priority in the Novel Tristram Shandy” was published in the book Contemporary Language and Literature Studies. “Psychoanalytic Interpretation of Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre and Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights” (2016), “An Absurdist Play: Samuel Beckett’s Endgame” (2016), “The Lyric Art of Chaucer: Songs and Letters in Troilus and Criseyde” (2019) are some of his articles published in international peer-reviewed journals.

Research Interests:Translation Studies, Audiovisual Translation, Subtitling and Dubbing Translation, Voluntary Translation, Film Studies, Cultural Studies, Localization, English Language Education, Measurement and Evaluation, Project Based Learning, Collaborative Learning.

Selected Publications: She completed his doctoral thesis titled Volunteer Subtitle Translator Organizations as a Model for a Social Constructivist Approach. (2021) During her master’s studies in Translation Studies, she prepared a learning-based project on structuralist approach and collaboration with Prof Anthony Pym at Universitat Rovira y Virgili. (2016) In addition to her articles published on the social cinema platform called Fil’m Hafızası, where she voluntarily writes film criticism and interviews, she also has two different chapters in the book 100 Unforgettable Characters in Turkish Cinema. She has translated subtitles and dubbing for various television channels and international film festivals within İKSV.

“ Dubbed or Doubted! Culture-specific references and their translation strategies in the English dubbing of the Turkish TV series ‘Ethos’ (2022), ‘WHY?’ BEHIND THE VOLUNTEER SUBTITLING – Research on the Motivation of Turkish Volunteer Subtitle Translators ” (2022), “ The Best of Both Worlds: From Volunteer Subtitling to Professional Subtitling” (2021) are some of her articles published in international peer-reviewed journals.
